Actors

@Roméo LÉON

👋 Our "Actors" are very similar to the first project :)

➡️ For those who have visual impairment and have trouble interacting with people or using social media. In 2015, there were 253 million visually impaired people in the world, including 36 million blind people and 217 million visually impaired people. These figures are expected to triple by 2050, due to population growth and an aging population.

➡️ Relatives can help the end-user for the first steps in using our solution : like downloading the app and have a quick tour of the different features. Moreover, a function (see the mockups → emergency call) makes necessary the link between the app and a relative.

Context

@Roméo LÉON

➡️ Our app would enable visually impaired people to "reconnect" in real life and experience regular (IRL) networking interaction with others. We want our app to break the high barrier represented by stigmatization. A big success would be for us to make visually impaired people feel like they do not miss experiences because of their disability, in other words, to provide them a flawless social networking experience.

➡️ First of all, what's great about this project lies in the fact that it can be used everywhere at any time. The "key moments" for this app to excel are during encounters (get information about a new "entity"), interviews (business for instance) or even during daily "small chat". This app could really enable our target to grasp "alternative communications" like body language.

➡️ What's great about this project is the fact that it can run on a mobile device and thus help people through their entire endeavors. Therefore, the final user would decide where and when to use it, the only limits we can think about is the use of this software in very dark places. However, this could be (to a certain extent) alleviated by using the flashlight of a phone.
